Introducing the Covered Sand Pit. This sturdy sandpit is designed with a striking blue canopy to protect your little one(s) from the elements, including UV rays. When not in use, the back of the seats, fold down easily to cover over the sandpit to protect it, and the sand, from the rain. This means that the next time they want to play, your kids and their friends have a dry and non slippy surface to play on and more importantly that the sand itself is protected from sand or even animals who may want to play in the sand. - Non-toxic waterproof treated wood. While the wood is treated, to get some extra longevity from your item, it is recommended that you either varnish or paint it with child friendly product before the first shower of rain.
- The bottom cloth of non-woven fabric is used to isolate the ground or contain the sand that you put into it. This ensures that moisture from the ground is not able to dampen the sand.
